Marg Helgenberger is an American actress, best known for her role on "Ryan's Hope," in which she played the character of Siobhan Ryan. Her journey from a small town girl towards Hollywood has been quite phenomenal. At the beginning she was not aspired of being an actor. She had always wanted to become a nurse like her mother. She became interested in acting while she was visiting colleges to decide which course she wanted to pursue. When she was performing in a university play, she was spotted by a talent-scout who recommended her to pursue an acting career in the professional realm. After a stint in the film 'Ryan's hope and "China Beach" as well as many others notable television and film performances, cementing her status as an actress. The most highly acclaimed of her roles was her portrayal of an exposure victim to chemicals in the film of the same name "Erin Brockovich". Marg is a hectic woman, yet she still finds time to support charitable causes. She hosts an annual famous golf tournament which raises funds to raise awareness about breast cancer.
